it's always better on holiday so much better on holiday that's why we only work when we need the money
Keane's Tom Chaplin says he wants to bury the hatchet with Oasis' Noel Gallagher, by getting the Oasis man to produce the Battle band. Gallagher has previously called Keane "shit", but the band still decided to cover Oasis' 'Cast No Shadow' at Sunday's (August 23) V Festival Chelmsford gig, after the headliners pulled out due to Liam Gallagher having viral laryngitis.
Now, Chaplin says he thinks it's time the two bands made up properly. "We are both bands of the people," he said. "It would be great for Noel to produce us – I offer the olive branch. We're huge fans." Following Keane's V Festival performance, Liam Gallagher paid tribute to them on his Twitter account. "Respect to those bands who covered Oasis last night," he Tweeted. "Even though I might of [sic] given some of you shit in the past" (Daily Star).
